Seattle Photographer Steven Miller

The Power of Stand-Out Imagery

In today’s social landscape, we’re surrounded by images on screens everywhere. The ability to create stand-out imagery demands a level of craftsmanship that comes from experience, talent, and excellent communication between the photographer and clients. Pacific Northwest photographer Steven Miller has all of these skills, and 20+ years working with local and international companies, non-profit organizations, and artists to make their concepts come to life.

Whether it’s photographing authentic headshots for social media campaigns, creating high-concept portraits for magazines and ad campaigns, or building elaborate sets for fashion, product, and food shoots — Steven’s high production values are available for reasonable prices. His crew of stylists, make up artists, set builders, and digital retouchers guarantee your project will exceed your expectations, and on budget.

Steven Miller Photography gets results: according to multiple returning clients, campaigns using our images have a high ROI. Steven’s past history of working at ad agencies and marketing companies means he has a deep understanding of what makes a successful image and campaign — great lighting and subject placement, high-end cameras and lenses, and  a collaborative approach to achieving goals on schedule.

Steven Miller’s photography studio is in downtown Seattle, and is available for small and medium-sized product and fashion shoots. Have something larger in mind? We have established connections with large studio spaces around the city.

About Steven Miller

I've been in love with photography since childhood. From the first time I saw an image appear on paper in a developer bath in fourth grade, I was entranced and had to know more. I opened my photography studio in 2002, after completing Seattle Central College's Commercial Photography program. I spent the '90s working as a touring musician in the industrial band ¡TchKung!, and as a graphic designer, writer, and photographer for Seattle publications (The Stranger, Seattle Weekly, Tablet, Seattle Met), and multiple ad agencies.

I'm also a fine art photographer and videographer. My art work has shown in galleries and museums internationally, and my photographs been published in magazines and books around the world.
